Alessia Cara has been a Canadian artist since the year 1996. Her parents have Italian descent. Her first guitar was purchased by her parents when she was 10 years old, which sparked her passion for music. At 13 years old, she began covering her favorite songs via YouTube one of the biggest media platforms to show the world that she possessed the talent skills and the determination to be an artist.
