Alia Shawkat (born April 18 1989) is one the richest and most well-known TV Actresses. Alia Shawkat grew up in Riverside California. Played Maeby Funke on the Fox show Arrested Development a role that brought her a TV Land Future Classic Award. Shawkat was a part of Whip It along with Ellen Page. Shawkat was Hannah the character from State of Grace between 2001 and 2004. Shawkat was Maeby Funke's character for the entire run of Arrested development from 2003 until 2018 as a member of its regular cast. The role of Shawkat was often highlighted in the show's critiques. Brian M. Palmer described Shawkat as "one of the brightest stars in a show that is populated with only bright light" as well Scott Weinberg (eFilmCritic) called her a hilarious young lady. The A.V.
