Simone Biles

Simone Biles was an American gymnast born on the 14th of March 1997 in the city of Columbus, Ohio. She is considered to be one of the most talented gymnasts. Biles was born and raised at home in Spring Texas, in the Houston metropolitan region. Both she and her sister Adria had been adopted by Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone was interested in gymnastics at age six during a day-care field trip to Bannon's Gymnastix and she continued there for eleven years under the direction of her coach Aimee Boorman. Biles won a gold in floor exercise and a bronze in vault during the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010, before advancing to the top level of competition in the year 2011. In less than two years, Biles was a dominant competitor in the sport. What distinguished Biles out was her constancy her vibrant personality as well as the high degree of difficulty she introduced into her workout routines for all four events--vault uneven bars balance beam and the floor workout.
