Coleman is Lancashire-born. She was educated at Arnold School in Blackpool. In her time as headgirl, she scored straight A grades for her A-Levels. In response to questions about her role in Emmerdale, she said that she regrets not to have had an experience like the traditional one at university. Coleman was part of a group called In Yer Space at her school. The group performed Crystal Clear in Edinburgh Festival. The show was awarded a prize to her for her performance, while the play received an enthusiastic reception. Coleman was chosen for the Emmerdale character Jasmine Thomas after auditioning with Drama schools. In 2007 Coleman was awarded two awards. In 2007 Coleman was nominated for two awards: The British Soap Awards as the Most Popular Newcomer and also the National Television Awards as the most Popular. In 2009, at the British Soap Awards she was nominated in the Best Actress Sexiest Female and the Best Dramatic Performance category. Coleman was nominated for Best Actress from the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat revealed at a Doctor Who Press Conference on March 21st, 2012 that Coleman was going to play Matt Smith as the Doctor's Companion after Karen Gillan, Arthur Darvill and other characters have left the show. Moffat picked her for the role due to the ease with which she worked with Smith as well as the fact that she could speak faster than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Since 1987, she has worked in film and television projects. She was more popular on television. Eva is well-known for her role on the show the character Dr. Maria Santos on All My Children and as the detective Natalia Boa Vistas in CSI Miami. The former even earned her two nominations for the Daytime Emmy Awards as well as gave her the chance to express her creative side through music. Eva as well as being an actress is also an entrepreneur and philanthropist. Eva has had three marriages and has a daughter from her second husband.
