April Bowlby was born in America. She is both an actress as well as a model. She has portrayed Kandi in the CBS comedy Two and a Half Men, Stacy Barrett in Drop Dead Diva and Rita Farr in Titans and Doom Patrol. April Michelle Bowlby is an American actor who is best recognized for her role as Stacy Barrett in the American Legal Comedy drama/fantasy television series Drop Dead Diva and Kandi in the comedy series Two and a Half Men. Her career began with modeling before she moved into films and television series. After appearing as an additional in the series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and single-episode roles in several other series, her debut on the screen was CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. After a few years her breakout role as Kandi was in Two and a Half Men. Bowlby's character as Stacy Barrett on the series Drop Dead Diva earned her recognition around the world. She was the main character as Rita Farr/Elastigirl for the American web show Titans. The character she played will be featured in a upcoming spinoff of Doom Patrol. Bowlby is also well-known by her TV appearances in Sands of Oblivion (a TV film) and The Wrong Daughter. Following her appearance on screen in The Slammin Salmon (which was her first film) as well as From Prada, to Nada she made her first appearance on big screens with All Roads Lead Home. Bowlby went to East Union High School in Manteca, California. The school was her first move to California when she was a child. She first studied French and Ballet at Moorpark College. Then she decided to pursue acting. She studied with Ivana Chaubbuck. She was offered the role in a television program (Kandi, Two and a Half Men) just a few months after she had her Hollywood audition. Bowlby was a part of a variety of TV shows including CSI in 2004. She also appeared on CSI: NY and CSI: NY in 2005. She also appeared on Freddie in 2005 as Sydney as Sydney, and How I Met Your Mother in 2007 as Meg. Bowlby is currently playing the character Natasha (a 12-year-old girl) in All Roads Lead Home. The movie is about an accident which causes Natasha to lose her mother. Bowlby is starring in the 2008 comedic movie The Slammin Salmon as Mia. She lives in Los Angeles. She has naturally red hair as well as blue eyes. She was never married, and has no children.
