Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco (born Angela Maria Ani DiFranco) is a American as well as a Canadian artist and singer. She's released over 20 albums. DiFranco's music has been classified as folk as well as alternative rock, but it has additional elements of punk, funk, hip beat and jazz. Ani Difranco is believed as a feminist icon and Grammy award-winning. As one of early female musicians in the 1990s, DiFranco founded her record label. DiFranco has two daughters: Elizabeth (Ross), and Dante Americo DiFranco. They met in their school, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her mother was born in Montreal and her father has Italian heritage. 32 Flavors is a hit song written that was performed and written by Ani DiFranco. The song is featured on her sixth studio album Not a Pretty Girl released in 1995. A variation of the song appears in the soundtrack to 1999's Canadian love story Better Than Chocolate. DiFranco apologized for hosting a workshop in Louisiana at an old plantation for slaves. A lot of people (including us) did not feel moved by her cancellation. DiFranco apologized for her mistake a couple of days later. Little Folksinger is a musician who has collaborated with musicians ranging from Pete Seeger, Chuck D and Prince.
