Angela Sun
Angela Sun was born in Santa Clara County, CA on 19 October 1979. She is an American journalist, sportscaster, documentary filmmaker and television host. She earned her degree in Communications and Sociology from the University of California. Sun was a pro at surfing. She participated in various pro-am Surf competitions which led to sponsorship deals with brands like Roxy Reef Billabong Vans. It was the recognition she gained from her participation in these events that led her into the realm of entertainment. Then, she went to be a filmmaker, reporter for investigative reporting and sportscaster. Sun has been a reporter for several news outlets, but mostly as an anchor. Sun was a Fox Sports Net correspondent in 2003. Sun also hosted American Ninja Warrior in 2012 with Matt Iseman, Jonny Mosley and Jill Moseley. Sun was host of The Yahoo Sports Minute from the year 2014 until 2015. She was the first Asian American to have her name featured as a host on ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports, Tennis Channel and Yahoo Sports. Sun, who is an accomplished actress and has been in many movies, has gained fame for her talent. She's appeared in numerous films, including Goliath (2017) Hit the Floor (2014-2016), A Perfect Getaway (2009) Shackled (2015) Street Kings (2008) and Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2005). Sun was the producer and director of Platic Paradise, The Great Pacific Garbage Patch in 2014.
