Lis Wehl was born on 19th August 1961 in the US She is a writer and the former legal expert of Fox News.
Her previous position was as associate professor of law in The University of Washington Law School. She offered legal analysis on Bill O'Reilly's radio show as well as National Public Radio. She was a regular guest on The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File with Megyn Kelly and Lou Dobbs Tonight. The Imus morning shows and is the host of the Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl, who was born and raised within Yakima located in Washington State, was a graduate of Yakima from West Valley High School. She holds a degree from Barnard College (1983), an MA in Arts in Literary Studies at the University of Queensland (1985) in addition to a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Harvard Law School (1997).
Wiehl worked as she was a US attorney. She worked as a correspondent for legal issues for NPR's All Things Considered. She was the assistant chief investigator counsel to Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee in Clinton's impeachment. Between 1995 and 2001, she served as a tenured professor in the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle and was in charge of the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl worked as a Fox News legal analyst from 2001-2017.
